Well, if you check the date, it says March 2006. I think this was probably one of those "cout metrage" movies. I take it you don't read french,
but anyhow, I live in Quebec and so I understand the little info given on the side. The summary basically says something about a scientist and his associate
looking for a dinosaur that's apparently around the area. Apparently, there's a native that watches over the savana...that's where it stops. But
I doubt this is the Dino-Riders we all grew up with and held dear to our hearts.
Although I don't know if anyone's been keeping track of the Jurassic Park 4 movie that's supposed to come out, but basically the idea is to equip dinosaurs with weapons in order to use them for the military...Remind you of anything? |

heh yeah a JP4 which is called Jurassic Park 4 : Extinction as the rumors go I can't wait until that ione hits the big screen I just hope they use better
actors like withJP1 which was still the best one, but a Dino-Riders Movie with real people and CG wouldn't be such a bad idea the plot is good enough for
such a thing so we can get a better idea on how Valoriea was like before the Emperor's invasion , during it and how they packed the ships with people to
flee from Valoria to Earth, which actually was an accident by using the Space Time Energy Projector's last power boost.
Yeah I think a DR Movie would be a resourceful idea as give us a better reference as well. Dino-Riders Thanks Giving does give the best reference to us on how Valoria was like, but just the idea it's self ya know. |

I have two thoughts in mind.
First of all, a JP4 would be awesome and I'm waiting for it, as a dinosaurs fan, for years. But I hope they won't pick up this storyline and that they will prefer the other storyline that is supposed to be something like "dinosaurs have a virus, we have to kill them before humans get it". Why? Just because if we already have a "armored & weaponed - dino" movie, we'll have no chance anymore to get a real Dino Riders movie. They already are few, so don't want them to be none. The story and characters of Dino Riders, and of course the great style of the Dinos and Weapons, are a lot enough to make a great blockbuster movie. I mean, somethig like at half-way between JP and Star Wars. This could be awesome, don't you think? |

What I think what would be cool is to have a DR movie which contains all the plots from DR cartoon 1 through 14 including even when it was peace on Valoria and
how things went on a 4 part mini-series, each part would be like 120 minutes each or more depending on what happens. This could be an idea as well. What also
would be cool is to see what lays beyond the ICE AGE episode, if that new type Bronto mount will be mounted on a Bronto like the one we all know today with our
collections.
So it would be far beyond a JP with Star-Wars tech, just as original DR already has become. |

I agree with you, and I think the greatest idea could be to do a movies series, like they are planning with Transformers, with around 4 or 5 movies. And of
course with stories that could be an end at each time, more or less like were the episodes from the animated series, just in case it don't do a buzz, in
order to have at least an end. (I'm telling that comparing to Lord of the Ring or Matrix 2 & 3 that would have been unended if the 2nd movie had been
realised but not the 3rd for example).
What do you think? |
