Antman is my favorite of all the bad guy sculpts, thanks for finding that Kronos.
Is it 100% Dino Rider, it looks like it from the picture but without holding it and feeling the plastic its hard to tell. |

Kronos had two of those figures and was kind enough to give me one in a trade. Both figures are identical and I think Kronos and I have come to the conclusion
that it is a real Dino-Rider toy (as opposed to a fake) and it is not a custom figure that someone painted. It appears as if the figure is made up of various
different figures' body parts - that's why there's a lot of colors. It's definitely pretty cool insofar as it looks different from all of the
other figures. I will try to post some better pictures this weekend.

That is awesome, always fun to see Dino-Rider toys nobodys seen 20 yrs. after they stopped selling them. I guess its cool to see a new toy from any line that
far after.

I updated the site with high resolution pictures of the Antmen. I can confirm that this is a Dino-Rider toy - it looks like whoever assembled it used a bunch
of different body parts - hence the variety of colors.

Couldn't it be a foreign variation? A figure only released in Mexico? Although no one has seen one MOC/MIB it could quite possibly exist.
I know for example that a few people have found a GI Joe Snake Eyes figure from Mexico, with painted glasses. And they're convinced it ain't just some kid that painted it, although no carded example has been seen so far. |
